The Delhi State Assembly elections will be held on 4 December 2013. Results will be announced on 8 December 2013. They will be one of the first five elections in which the Election Commission of India will implement a "None of the above" (NOTA) voting option, allowing the electorate to register a neutral vote but not to outright reject candidates. In a first, Election Commission of India would also appoint Central Awareness Observers, whose main task would be to oversee Voter awareness and Facilitation.
